At AJCL we strive to ensure that business and corporate governance are one and the same. We understand that in order to succeed we have to develop community building initiatives. Therefore, our different business divisions endeavor to sustain solid growth and achieve tangible results that in turn permit us to give back to the community from which we have gained so much. We recognize the importance of a sound education in developing good values, morals and strong leadership for the future. In fact emphasis on quality education has been a corner stone of the Jaffer family charitable institutions over the years, as good education helps develop intellect and a responsible citizen. Accordingly, we very strongly support education and community building efforts across Pakistan that reach out and empower people.  The Ahmed E. H. Jaffer Foundation (a non profit organization) was established to provide quality education to both boys and girls for their self-development.  The foundation is tasked with overseeing "The Hub School," a boarding school of excellence for the nation. Construction has been completed and funds are being raised in support of the school's endowment. We continue to support the Foundation's efforts.

In addition to community development efforts, we also recognize that unforeseen disasters and human tragedies require relief and rehabilitation assistance. AJCL regularly supports those directly affected by natural disasters and other tragic incidences. Our team is quick to mobilize and volunteers in providing relief where it is most required. For example, AJCL contributed resources following the Kashmir earthquake of 2005, Baluchistan flooding of 2008, the Pakistan-wide floods of 2010 and in rehabilitating victims of terrorism. We remain committed to community service as and when required.
